I was recently commissioned to design a website for the artist Julie Wells. Much of Julie's work is moving image and her brief was for something understated, elegant and refined. In the end, we settled on a 'barely there' pink and dark violet-navy colour scheme and Futura as the main font, which I used as the starting point for a logo based on her initials.
